NCNS Teaching Staff


Tina French, Director Tina is thrilled to return to NCNS this year as the director. As a teacher at NCNS, Tina taught in the 3 and 4 year-old programs, as well as the toddler program. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. Tina has been teaching in Westwood, in the preschool and kindergarten, prior to returning to NCNS. She lives in Westwood with her husband Paul and their two children,
Janet Kelly, 3 Year-Old Teacher Janet first came to NCNS as a parent, taught in the Toddler Program, and then joined the staff as a 3 year-old teacher in the fall of 2004. She graduated from Bridgewater State College with a degree in Elementary Education and Communication Disorders and began her teaching career working with hearing impaired children in the Newton Public Schools. Since joining NCNS, Janet obtained her certification through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). In addition to teaching in the 3 year-old classroom, Janet has taught in the "Kids, Kids" summer program, "Lunch Bunch" and "Friday Fun" extended day programs. She lives in Norwood with her husband and two children.

Nancy O'Neil, 4 Year-Old Teacher Nancy joined our staff in September 1998 and is a past parent at NCNS. She attended Cape Cod Community College where she studied Liberal Arts and Early Childhood. Nancy has since taken various college courses and continues to pursue her love of Early Childhood by attending workshops and courses related to this field. Her teaching experience has been in both the 3 and 4 year-old classrooms, Lunch Bunch, Friday Fun, "june Bugs" summer program and "Cooperative Kids" toddler program. Nancy resides in Walpole with her husband, Ed and son, Brendan.

Laura Brennan, 3 Year-Old Teacher Laura joined our staff in 2007. She holds a degree in English and Secondary Education from Boston College and is pursuing her Certification in Early Childhood Education. Laura has previous classroom experience at St. John's Nursery School in Westwood where she was also on the parent board. She resides in Westwood with her husband and three children

Laura Spadoni, 4 Year-Old Teacher Laura joined our staff in 2007. She holds an Associate Degree from Aquinas Collage, a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Dean College and is currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Laura's previous experience includes serving as Lead Teacher at the Westwood Nursery School as well as substitute teaching at St. Catherine's of Siena School in Norwood and within the Walpole Public School system. Laura is an assistant Scoutmaster for the Walpole Boy Scouts as well as a Leader in the Walpole Girl Scouts and is actively engaged in service projects through her church. She lives in Walpole with her husband and three children.

Megan Davey, 4 Year-Old Teacher Megan joined the staff in 2009 and is a current parent at NCNS. Previously, she spent 7 years teaching preschool in Waltham before moving to Norwood. She graduated with honors with a business degree from Siena College in NY and has an Early Childhood Certification from the Massachusetts Department of EEC. Currently, Megan lives in Norwood with her husband, Lou, and two children, Caroline and Georgia.

Kate Richer, 3 Year-Old Teacher Kate joins our staff with a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. Her previous classroom experience includes Lead Teacher in an Integrated Preschool in Rhode Island, Special Education Resource Teacher for Kindergarteners and one on one aid to a child with Autism. Kate lives in Walpole with her husband, Scott. She is also a Mom to a current 4 year-old, Will and alum 1st grade daughter, Sophia. Kate has served on the Board of NCNS for the past 2 years as the school's Registrar.
